ELIGIBILITY - REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
MEDICAL CERTIFICATE
Each participant, with the exception of the 13K distance, must be in possession of a medical certificate for competitive activity "ATHLETICS OR MOUNTAIN RUNNING" (Ministerial Decree 18.02.1982 table B) valid on the date of the event.
The MEHT races are open to anyone aged 18 or over as of August 1, 2026.
For the 61K – 38K races it is recommended to have participated in at least one TRAIL RUNNING race in an Alpine/Mountain environment of approximately 35-40 km with 2,500m D+.
Each participant must be aware of the length of the chosen route and the specific nature of the environment in which the race will take place, be adequately prepared and have acquired, before the race itself, a real capacity for personal autonomy in an Alpine/Mountain environment and in particular:
- Knowing how to independently deal with weather conditions that could become difficult being linked to an alpine environment where conditions can change suddenly becoming a determining factor that cannot be underestimated; therefore being able to independently manage problems related to extreme weather conditions such as intense cold/heat, snow or rain, strong winds etc.
- Be able to independently manage physical/psychological problems due to high levels of tiredness, gastrointestinal problems, muscle and joint pain, small wounds, feeling of hunger and/or thirst, etc.
- Be aware that the role of the OC is not to help the participant tackle his/her race.

Time gates
Timing barriers consider type of terrain and elevation to monitor participant’s position due to safety reasons and are calculated considering necessary time to finish the race within maximum time allowed:
61K – max 18:30 h
38K – max 12:30 h
21K – max 07:30 h
13K – max 05:00 h
Bib collection - Delegation
By THU, July 30, 2026, each participant will receive a "REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION LETTER" via email. This email must be saved on your mobile device and presented in digital format when collecting your race number, along with a valid ID.
The race bib is the necessary pass for access to all participant services. Participants must indicate the name/cell phone number of the person to contact in case of emergency on the back of the bib and save the emergency number printed on the bib into their cell phone. The race bib is strictly personal and therefore non-transferable. It is the individual athlete's responsibility to wear it visibly on their chest/stomach, and alterations are strictly prohibited. Participants found without a bib, with a modified bib, or with a bib transferred to another person will be subject to immediate disqualification and reported to the appropriate criminal and sporting authorities.

GPS TRACKER
The GPS tracker (61K) and the CHIP, mandatory for the races part of the MEHT, are used to establish the timing as well as for reasons related to the safety of the participants by monitoring their passage at the various points of the route.
ATTENTION: The GPS tracker service, included in the registration for the 61K race, requires you to return your GPS device at the end of your race to the office (bib distribution area).
DELEGATION
Only for the day of FRI 31.07.2026, it will be possible to delegate another person to collect the ticket, who must present the following documentation:
- Confirmation Letter printed/signed in original by the delegating member + Power of Attorney (attached to the confirmation letter)
- Copy of the delegate member's identity document
